A cozy winters' night in

Saturday, December 14, 2013

Will's out of town this weekend - back in Atlanta attending his works' Christmas party so here at the house it's just me and the pups.  The temperature has been dropping to single digits (that's celsius) over night and has been windy during the day so aside from a quick game of fetch outside, a trip to the grocery store and a visit to the nail salon for a manicure, I've been staying indoors.

Last night, after my work day was done, housework was complete and pups were settled with various chew toys around the living room, I did the best thing anyone could ever do on a freezing winter's eve: I poured myself a glass of sparkling apple cider, made a little antipasti plate, lit my Christmas candle, wrapped myself up in a snug cable knit blanket and commenced watching the first movie in the 8-film Harry Potter collection.  It was bliss! And since I only got to the end of the second, I can do it all over again tonight!  Happy Holidays x

  1. Sounds perfect Sis! Anna and I actually did the same thing just recently - spent a few nights in doing a Harry Potter marathon... was nice and relaxing, just what the doctor ordered :o)
